On Sept. 2 the policeman was conducting a security check at Sound Park when he spotted a group of people sitting in the gazebo at the center of the park. As he approached, two of the people tried to hide cans of Natural Ice Beer behind their backs. The policeman gave the two trespass warnings for the park and told them to leave.
One of the men asked if he could go to the bathroom first. The officer pointed out there was no bathroom at the park. The man said, “Where’s your car then, I’ll pee on that.” He was told to leave.
The officer walked back to his car and saw the man leaning on his vehicle. He told the man to leave the park; the man said “Take me to jail.” The officer asked the man if he were refusing to leave the park, and the repeated, “Take me to jail then.”
The officer asked if the man had urinated on the patrol car. The man shrugged. At that point he was arrested for trespassing.
