A 35-year-old woman was arrested today after Flagler County deputies said she attacked a 17-year-old high school student at a school bus stop.
Deputies say Felecia Phillips confronted the boy at about 7 a.m. today questioning him about a fight her son got into with the boy’s friend.
Witnesses said Phillips pushed the boy who then grabbed her and slammed her on the ground before he let go and attempted to board the school bus. Phillips got up and tried to grab the boy. Other students had to pull the boy to help him onto the bus.
The driver stepped in and warned Phillips to get off the bus, saying she was trespassing on school property.
Phillips left and was arrested a few hours later on child abuse and trespassing charges. Her bail was set to $2,500.
