A man who made ominous threats to his girlfriend has been arrested on charges related to a physical confrontation between the two.
On Sept. 2 an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a Main Street residence about the alleged disturbance.
On that day, 38-year-old Jeremy Thomas Lagrone and his girlfriend apparently became in an altercation when she tried to leave his residence. According to the arrest report, Lagrone became enraged when she tried to leave and pushed her to the floor.
He then is said to have restrained her by pushing her chest down with his hands to hold her against the living room floor.
He closed the front door to keep her from leaving, the report said, and then told her that is she left there would be a “blood bath.”
He was charged with felony battery and felony false imprisonment.
