After Christopher J. Reyes, 29, of Bradenton, had been pulled over on Saturday at 1:00 a.m. for running a stop sign, he was askd for his driver’s license and registration by law enforcement. After fumbling through his glove box, reyes pulled out some the car’s owwner’s manual, along with other paperwork, some of which had been clipped together, according to an arrest affidavit from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Those papers were reportedly a fax from Flowers Bakery. When that deputy arrived, he noted the tell-tale odor of booze on Reyes, according to the report.
When the deputy instructed Reyes to exit his car, he stumbled, catching himself on the car’s window frame. Reyes then told the deputy that he “knew his alphabet from A-Z and knows his left from his right,” the arrest report stated.
Guess it wasn’t as easy as ABC.
The deputy noted on his report that Reeves “did poorly” on field sobriet tests and blew a .231.
