You have to shell out some cash for a dress you’ll never wear again, buy gifts and attend bridal showers and a bachelorette party.
But this bridesmaid will have an additional expense: A costly DUI.
After being pulled over by a Holmes Beach cop on Friday for going 18-mph over the speed limit and drifting into oncoming traffic, a deputy then arrived on the scene to conduct a DUI investigation on 27-year-old Lesley B. Falcone, according to an arrest report by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
During a field sobriety check, the deputy reportedly explained the walk and turn test to Falcone, who was “unable to stand in the starting position,” according to the arrest report.
After attempting to instruct her several times how to perform the walk and turn, Falcone told the deputy, “I’m done and I don’t want to look like a fool,” the record stated.
Then, while on her way to the pokey, she allegedly admitted to having had several drinks before stating “this is what I get for being a bridesmaid.”
