A man who told an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s deputy he didn’t have a “good license” faces a charge of driving without a license.
He was stopped on Aug. 30 for having a broken tag light. When the deputy approached the driver, the driver, identified as 36-year-old David Brian Kelley of Crestview, said he “did not have a good license.”
A check revealed his license had expired in 1998. His driving privileges had been suspended since 2009. He had four prior convictions for driving with a suspended license.
He was charged with felony driving with a suspended license and will go before a judge on Oct. 2.
