Volusia County deputies arrested a man who was sleeping naked on a table outside a Sonic restaurant in Orange City, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
A deputy was dispatched to the restaurant on Saxon Boulevard early Sunday morning after someone called authorities to report the man, later identified as Adam E. Hunt, tried biting him.
When a deputy arrived, reports state, Hunt was naked, asleep and smelled like alcohol.
The deputy woke Hunt up and asked that he put clothes on. Hunt cursed at the deputy, the report said.
When the deputy told Hunt he would be arrested if he didn’t get dressed, Hunt jumped off the table and said, “Take me to jail then.”
The report said Hunt balled up both hands into fists, and was then arrested.
