A St. Petersburg woman was found Sunday evening passed out in her car, with the keys in the ignition and a child inside, Pinellas County sheriff’s deputies said.
Barbara C. Brummette, 32, of 11096 Cherokee Drive, was charged with DUI and child neglect after she was unable to perform any roadside sobriety tests, according to an arrest report.
The child was “drenched in sweat” when fire rescue workers arrived, the report stated. Arrest reports gave no details about the age or gender of the child or the relationship with Brummette, who was released on $5,000 bail.
