A man has been accused of luring a 12-year-old boy into a Kmart bathroom to participate in sexual activity.
According to police, the boy was shopping with his mom at the Kmart in Miami when a 55-year-old man struck up a conversation with the child and asked him to point the way to the bathroom.
Then, according to Miami police, Alejandro Gomez lured the boy inside.
Once inside, the boy was offered cash to pull down his pants so Gomez could masturbate, Miami police spokeswoman Kenia Reyes said in a report.
According to the report, the boy ran out to his mother, who then called police.
Gomez was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious conduct.
