Dixie County deputies said a 77-year-old woman had to be hospitalized after being beaten by her 29-year-old granddaughter, who was angry she could not use the older woman’s car.
She was old enough to know better.
But that didn’t stop 29-year-old Tiffani Marie Anderson from beating up her 77-year-old grandma, who had to be hospitalized, reports The Gainesville Sun.
Dixie County Sheriff’s Maj. Scott Harden said the elderly woman was beaten inside her Old Town home on Friday morning. Before being taken by ambulance to a hospital, the victim told deputies Anderson hit her several times on the face, torso and arms. Harden said the woman, though seriously hurt, was expected to recover.
